Calling all Pembroke Welsh Corgi and Cardigan Welsh Corgi lovers to come and  join us for the fun at the 7th annual NC Corgi Picnic on September 20, 2008 at the Pet Behavior Help facility in Chapel Hill, NC.  (Directions and Map)  It's great fun for you and your Corgis, and proceeds will go to Corgi-Aid.  Please RSVP by September 5.

Games
Hot dog bobbing, quickest recall (the Corgi Dash) musical mats, prizes and ribbons will be awarded to winners.
 Contests
Cutest Bunny Butt (Pembroke) and Best Tail (Cardigan), prizes and ribbons will be awarded to winners.

 Demonstrations
Agility, Rally, and  herding  demonstrations, as well as practice in some of these venues.  Come and watch the pros show how much fun it can be to work with your dog. Then give it a try. The Rally course will be open for you to try with your dog.  We can only allow agility equipment to be used by agility titled dogs.

You can have your puppies 2-6 months of age demonstrate their instinct for herding as well.

Hot dogs and hamburgers and beverages will be provided. A $5 charge per person over age 9 will help to cover the costs of the food and the facility rental.  We ask everyone to bring a side dish to share. Those coming from long distances can bring chips or other non-perishable food.

Costume - Rescue Parade
We'd love to see all the rescue dogs in our costume parade.  Costumes are available for a $1 rental if you don't have your own, and proceeds go to Corgi-Aid.

 Classes for Pembroke and Cardigan puppies under 12 months of age and Junior Showmanship for Juniors age 13 and under.  Plus Senior Showmanship for everyone else who ever wanted to show, but was afraid to try.  Click here for more details.
